Other Special Detector Commands

Property

Description

AutoActivateUV_Lamp

If set to On, the deuterium lamp is automatically turned on upon power-up. Values: On, Off (default)

AutoactivateVisible_
Lamp

If set to On, the Tungsten lamp is automatically turned on right after power-up of the detector. Values: On, Off (default)

Autozero

Performs Autozero. The command is performed immediately, when issued manually, or at a Program time <0.000 min. With a program time of 0.000, the command is performed before the injection program; with a program >0.000, the command is performed at this program time.

DemoFileName

File name of the demo file. (May contain %d that will be replaced by the sample number)

PeakWidth

Expected minimum peak width in [min] (If you set the PeakWidth, you must also set the Step: see above).

Values (Agilent 1100/1200 DAD): 0.00, 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.20, 0.40, 0.85.

Values (Agilent 1200 DAD SL): 0.00, 0.0025, 0.0050, 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.20, 0.40, 0.85.

SlitWidth

Width of the micro slit (also MWD). A small slit allows using the fine structures of the UV spectrum. A wide slit provides higher sensitivity. Values: 1 - 16 nm; default: 4 nm

UV_Lamp

Reports the state of the deuterium lamp. Values: On, Off (default)

UV_LampRequired

If set to On: The detector is not ready for operation if the deuterium lamp is off. Values: On, Off (default)

Visible_Lamp

Tungsten lamp state. Values: On, Off (default)

Visible_LampRequired

If set to On: The detector is not ready for operation if the Tungsten lamp is off. Values: On, Off (default)

Counters

The values are read from the module on connect.
