Program

The control program (or program, for short) is part of the PGM File and is displayed in the Commands view of the PGM Editor (see Control  The PGM Editor). It can be considered a "schedule" for the execution of different Control Commands. In this file, the user writes all commands to be executed before, during, and after analyzing a sample plus the corresponding execution times. In this way, it is possible to automate the analysis completely, including any routine procedures that are performed before and after the analysis, for instance, column conditioning by rinsing the column with various solvents.

It is also possible to use a program to monitor specific parameters or limits and to trigger specific reactions when these limits are not met.

Follow the instructions in the Wizard (also see Control  The Program Wizard) to create the basic structure of the program. Chromeleon automatically converts the user input into uniform command syntax that is readable by the program. In this way, even new users can quickly create new programs.
