The UVD-3000 provides an RS-232 port on the rear panel, but it is connected to the USB port on the PC or to another module of the UltiMate 3000 system. To do this, use the RS-232/USB interface cable from the detector's accessories kit.

The AS-HV and AXP each have an RS-232 port that provides a connection to a serial port on the Chromeleon PC. If a serial port is not available, you can use the optional RS-232/USB converter (P/N 064261 for the AS-HV; P/N 064590 for the AXP) to connect the device to a USB port on the PC.

Contact Dionex if you want to control DX-500 devices manufactured in 1994 and/or 1995. For these devices, the CPU needs to be checked.
