Chromatogram Decoration:
2D Retention Map

Use the 2D Retention Map tab page to determine how Autopurification samples are displayed.

  Tip:

This tab page is only active if the Extended Fractionation option is selected on the Comparison tab page and the Overlay 2D retention map option is selected on the Extended Fractionation tab page.

Scale

Prep. time

Determine the signal axis of all fraction collection samples (Z axis)  by entering the minimum and maximum values, or select Autoscale to display the 2D Retention Map across the complete signal range of the preparative sample.

 Note:

As selected under Time axis units on the Time Scale tab page, the unit displayed behind the to input field is either minutes or seconds.

Frac. time

Determine the signal axis of all fraction collection samples (Z axis)  by entering the minimum and maximum values or select Autoscale to display the 2D Retention Map across the complete signal range of the fractionated sample.

 Note:

As selected under Time axis units on the Time Scale tab page, the unit displayed behind the to input field is either minutes or seconds.

Signal

Determine the signal axis of all fraction samples (Z axis) by entering the minimum and maximum values or select Autoscale to display the 2D Retention Map across the complete signal range of all fraction samples.

Color style

Grayscales

Select this option to use gray scales for representing the signal intensity in the 2D Retention Map (ranging from white for weak signals to black for strong signals).

PPA 256 colors

Uses the color scale settings of the PPA method for 3D data for representing the signal intensity.

Linear RGB gradient

(default) Signal intensity is represented by a linear color gradient. The default RGB colors range from white (2D Retention Map Gradient1) for weak signals to blue (2D Retention Map Gradient2) for strong signals.

Use the Colors tab page to change the color settings for the 2D Retention Map Gradient1 and 2D Retention Map Gradient2 elements.

Unicolored

Select this option to use a single color for representing the signal intensity. The default color for 2D Retention Map Base is blue. The color can be changed on the Colors tab page.

2D retention map labels

Label 2D retention map

If this check box is selected, all 2D fractions identified by the system are automatically labeled using the variables specified in the Formula field.

Click Extended Settings to specify details about how the fractions are labeled.
