Firmware |
The Firmware field displays the firmware version provided by Chromeleon for the detector. If more than one firmware version is available for the detector in Chromeleon, select the version you wish to transfer and click Download. A message displays the firmware version that is currently installed in the detector and the version that will be downloaded from Chromeleon. Tips: To make sure that the download is successful, make sure that the communication between Chromeleon and the detector is not interrupted during the download and do not turn off the detector. Firmware files have the extension .hex, for example, DAD3000.hex. To check which firmware versions are included in Chromeleon, located the IQReport.log file located in the IQ directory of the Chromeleon installation. For detailed information about firmware update refer to the operating instructions of the module. Caution: Do not downgrade the firmware. Downgrading the firmware to a previous version may result in loss of functionality or malfunctioning of the device. |
