Dialog Box:
Device List

The Device List provides information about all available instruments (LAN and USB connections). For example, if the driver for the VWD-3x00 detector is installed, all installed VWD-3x00 detectors are displayed in the list. (Note: Some of the options below may not be available for all  modules.)

Address

The Address column lists all modules that are available via Ethernet (TCP/IP), with their IP addresses, or all modules that are available via USB, with the prefix USB and their serial numbers.

Serial Number (S/N)

The column lists the serial number of the corresponding module and the name of the computer to which the module is connected when the Chromeleon server is running.

Server Name

If a listed module is already connected to a Chromeleon Server, the server name appears in the Server Name column. If a module is available for connection, either 0.0.0.0 is displayed or the column is empty. (Not provided in Ultimate 3000RS pumps.)

Ethernet

The Ethernet column lists the Ethernet address of the corresponding module. DX-LAN and USB modules do not have an Ethernet address.

Double-click the address of the module to establish the connection. This process may take some seconds. The corresponding address is displayed in the Module Address field on the General tab page. When the connection is successful, the corresponding connect message (including the firmware version) is displayed in the Audit Trail.
