Backup

The Backup function is used to save a backup copy of your data:

 

Selected Item(s):

This list displays all objects previously selected in the Browser.

 

 

Destination:

Enter the path and the name of the backup file. Click the Browse button to navigate to the location. If the file already exists, an overwrite warning will be displayed.

If you enter only the file name, the file is saved to the path indicated as Default Path.

 

 

Options:

The raw data of the remaining channels, the Audit Trails of the samples and the History are automatically included in the backup. The following options are available:

  • Title: freely selectable title

  • Include 3D fields: Backup includes 3D fields.

  • Include MS spectra raw files: Backup includes MS raw data.

  • Include linked objects: Backup includes all linked objects; for example, the preferred RDF File of Sequences.

  • Compress data: Compresses the stored data. The required storage space can be reduced by 33% to 50%.

  • Delete original: Deletes the original data after the successful backup.
