|
Name: |
Enter the name for the target sequence by clicking the {..} button. Select a variable from the different Report Categories in the Insert/Edit Sequence Name Label Variable dialog box. Meaningful names are suggested by default: For a purification sequence, this is {seq.name}_Prep. In this case, the name of the original sequence is used, extended by _Prep. For a fraction sequence, this is {seq.name}_Fractions. In this case, the name of the original sequence is used, extended by _Fractions. Tips: If you do not want to use a report variable in the name, verify that the PGM File is used only in one sequence. If you use, e.g., the {seq.name} variable, Chromeleon does not create a new sequence. The newly created samples are appended to the existing samples in the current sequence instead. |

|
Title: |
Enter the title for the sequence by clicking the {..} button. Select a variable from the different report variables in the Insert/Edit Sequence Title Label Variable dialog box. The default title is {seq.title}, i.e., the title of the original sequence is used. Tip: This title is used only for the creation of new sequences. |

Add sequence to batch: |
Select this check box to add the new target sequence to the Batch. |

Additional Samples |
Use this section of the dialog box to determine whether additional samples (i.e., in addition to the Fraction-type or Preparation-type samples) shall be saved in the sequence. These samples will be copied from existing sequences, together with their PGM and QNT Files. Tips: An important application is to use a pre-run sample for equilibration, e.g., by running a blank run sample without an injection via an equilibration PGM File. In the same way, you can use a post-run sample to shut down the system with a stop program. Additional samples are added to the sequence only once. If the sequence already contains samples of the respective type (i.e., Preparation-type samples in the Create Purification Samples wizard or Fraction-type samples in the Create Fractions Samples wizard), no pre-run or post-run samples will be added. If you copy samples from other datasources, any entries in User-defined Columns that do not exist in the target datasource will be ignored. If the target datasource contains user-defined columns that do not exist in the original datasource, Chromeleon will enter the default values in these columns. |
|
|
Pre-run samples: |
Select this check box to add pre-run samples. Note: When the corresponding Post-Acquisition Step is performed, the related Preparation-type samples will appear after the last pre-run sample. In the Use template field, specify from which sequence pre-run samples shall be copied. Click the '…' button to open the Browse dialog box and select the sequence. All samples of the selected sequences will be copied. Tips: Verify that the Chromeleon server can access the sequences to be copied. When the samples are copied the sample status is set to Single unless the sample status was Multiple in the original sequence. (In this case, the status Multiple is kept.) In addition, the samples are copied without the raw data and without the entries from the Inj. Date/Time, Auto Purif. Frac, Auto Purif. Ref, and Auto Purif. Type columns. Entries in user-defined columns are adapted when the samples are copied from a different datasource. |

Post-run samples: |
Select this check box to append post-run samples to the sequence. In the Use template field, specify from which sequence post-run samples shall be copied. Click the '…' button to open the Browse dialog box and select the sequence. All samples of the selected sequences will be copied. Tip: See the tips under Pre-run samples above. |
