Create Purification Samples Wizard:
Optimized MS Threshold TCx
Use this dialog box to write two values measured for the peak of the Autopurification target compound into a User-defined Column in the sample list. These values can be used for detecting fractions and for starting triggers.
Channel for peak height: |
Click the arrow and select a channel that was defined in the PGM File. This channel will be used as the evaluation channel in which the retention time is determined for the specified peak height. In the Peak Front Evaluation and Peak Tail Evaluation sections, determine the peak height(s) at which the retention time(s) shall be determined. |
Signal evaluation channel: |
Select the channel whose signal shall be written to the corresponding user-defined column at the retention time determined in the evaluation channel. The <Target compound channel> is the channel that was selected from the Channel combo box on the Target Compound X page. Note: If no channel is selected (i.e., if the channel field is empty), the <Target compound channel> will be used. |
Multiplication Factor: |
Enter the factor by which the measured value shall be multiplied. |
Peak Front/Tail Evaluation: |
Determine the signal value to be used for fronting and/or tailing. |
Baseline height |
Signal value at the point where the left or right turning point tangential intersects the baseline (see Peak Width) |
5% height |
at 5% of the peak height |
10% height |
at 10% of the peak height |
50% height |
at 50% of the peak height |
Store in user-defined column: |
Enter the user-defined floating point column from the sample list in which the signal value for the fronting and/or tailing shall be written: Tip: If necessary, create the user-defined columns first (see How to: Creating and Managing Files and Data Creating User-defined Columns). |
