Shimadzu LC-10A/LC-20A Prominence HPLC Systems: Pumps
Chromeleon supports the following pump combinations (the bold entries in the table indicate the commonly used pump mode). Chromeleon also supports up to 3 FCVs. Any installed FCV can be used as a solvent selection valve, with the exception of FCV.A in LP.GE mode.

² For low-pressure gradient applications, a flow channel valve (FCV) must be connected to pump A.
Abbreviations used in the table:
FCV = Flow Channel Valve
HPG = High-Pressure Gradient
LPG = Low-Pressure Gradient
Make the necessary entries on the Pumps tab page in the Server Configuration program.
Tip:
If you have selected an option for which one or several modules are not available, the mode is automatically set to Isocratic and an error message is displayed:
At least two pump modules are needed for Binary HPG mode. Resetting mode to Isocratic.
At least three pump modules are needed for Ternary HPG mode. Resetting mode to Isocratic.
An FCV.A module is needed for Quaternary LPG mode. Resetting mode to Isocratic.
