General (Kontron 420)

Specify the name, the connection, and the operating mode of the Kontron 420 pump or the LKB 2150 pump.

Device Name:

Indicates the name under which the instrument is identified in the installation environment (Also, refer to Naming Devices...). To control the instrument via the existing Control Panels, accept the default name. If you do not accept the default name, you may have to edit the PGM Files and re-link the corresponding control of the control panel. (Also, refer to How to: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel  Linking a Control to a Device in the User Help section.)

 

 

Demo Mode:

Select this check box to enable the Demo Mode. In this mode, data from a demo file instead of real data is read and displayed on the screen.

 

 

Pump Communication Ports:

If several pumps are available, it is possible to realize a high-pressure gradient system. Determine which pump is to be controlled by which interface.

 

 

Send only Mode:
(for Kontron 420 pump only)

Select this check box to ignore commands that the pump sends to Chromeleon. The pump only receives commands from Chromeleon.

Error messages by the pump will still be sent.
