Device Name:

Enter the name of the instrument under which it is identified in the installation environment (also, see Naming Devices...). The default name is InjectValve. To control the instrument via the existing Control Panels, accept the default name. If you do not accept the default name, you have to edit the PGM File(s) and re-link the corresponding controls of the control panel. (Also, refer to How to: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel  Linking a Control to a Device in the User Help section.)

Inject Port:

The drop-down box lists all installed remote input or remote start devices that have not already been selected as an Inject Port.

Select the remote input or remote start device to which the injection valve or other remote inject device is connected. When executing a Program, Chromeleon waits until it receives a signal from the Inject Port before executing the Inject command and continuing with the program commands.

Example: If the inject output of the autosampler is connected to the input of the UVD, select INPUT340.
