Tab Dialog Box:
Relays / Inputs / TTL Inputs
Displays the names of the currently installed devices. Depending on the system configuration, the devices shown as well as the available columns may vary. In general, you can use this dialog box to perform the following functions:
Enable Chromeleon control of a device (select the corresponding check box).
Disable control of the device (clear a check box).
Change the name of a device (select the name and press the F2 key).
If the autosampler is operated with a LPG-3400XRS pump, use this page to define the input port that is to be used for synchronizing the pump strokes with the inject command of the autosampler. (Also refer to Function below). For further information about operating the autosampler with a LPG-3400XRS, refer to topic UltiMate 3000 Series LPG-3400XRS Pump: Installation.

Name |
Indicates the name under which the device is identified in the installation environment (also, see Naming Devices...). To control the device via the existing Control Panels, accept the default name. If you change the device name, you may have to edit the PGM File(s) and re-link the corresponding controls to the device on the control panel. (Also, refer to How to: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel Linking a Control to a Device in the User Help section.) |

Timebase |
Indicates the timebase to which this device is assigned. |

Description |
Displays a brief description of the device. |

Function |
Displays whether the digital input or output has a default function.
If the autosampler is operated with an LPG-3400XRS pump: Specify the Pump Device Name defined on the Devices tab page of the LPG-3400XRS pump configuration (e.g. 'Pump1'). This is required to enable transmission of the pump signal to the selected input port of the autosampler. In addition, verify that:
