Dialog Box:
Delay Equilibration Sequence?
When a batch is already running, you may wish to postpone the start of the equilibration sequence until after the batch is completed. When you select this option, the equilibration sequence is inserted after the sequences (and/or PGM Files) selected on the Batch List tab page:
Set Delayed Start of Equilibration Sequence |
Select the check box to postpone the start of the equilibration sequence. |
(left field) |
Set the start time for the equilibration sequence. |
(right field) |
Enter the start date for the equilibration sequence. |
OK |
Click OK to accept the settings and open the Batch dialog box. (The equilibration panel is not opened.) |
Cancel |
Click Cancel to abort the equilibration sequence. |
Note:
Some SmartStartup Wizard steps require user intervention during the equilibration process. Currently, this applies to purging the pump via the valve screw (Purge via Valve Screw) and priming the syringe for the ASI-100 autosampler (Prime Syringe). The equilibration process stops and a corresponding message is displayed until the user intervenes. Therefore, when you confirm by clicking OK, Chromeleon issues a warning that user intervention is required to run the equilibration process. You can select whether you still wish to delay the sequence or run it directly after the currently running batch.
Tip:
You can further optimize your chromatography system by combining SmartStartup with the shutdown and standby functions of the SmartShutdown Wizard.
For an overview of how to create a shutdown or standby program using SmartShutdown, refer to How to ...: Shutting Down the Chromatography System (SmartShutdown).
