This command (see How to: Creating and Managing Files and Data  Restoring Backup Files) restores files that were saved using the Backup command.

Title:

Title of the archive.

Created:

Information about the backup date and the user who performed the backup.

Contents:

Archive contents. In addition to the name of the object, the tree indicates the title, the date, and the user of the last access as well as the size of the original and the compressed files.

Total size of selected objects:

Total size of all objects that are selected (just the size of the selected channels is displayed).

Destination:

Destination where to restore the objects. The destination can be either the original location or a new directory (other). Click the Browse button to open a File dialog box.

 Note:

The History is restored only if the History mode is enabled for the destination datasource.

The tree items are listed in the same order as the objects in the Browser. Click the + and - characters to expand and collapse the items. If an item is collapsed, the Orig. Size and Compr. Size columns include the total size of all subordinate objects.

Next to each item, there is a check box to select the object. Selecting an object automatically selects or unselects all subordinate objects. Instead of left-clicking, you can also press the Return key and then the Space key.

Click Select all or Unselect all to select or unselect all objects. Restore can also be performed for split backup files from hard disks and network drives.
