Dialog Box:
Sequence Wizard: Saving the Sequence

In the last step of the Sequence Wizard (see Samples and Sequences  The Sequence Wizard), name the Sequence and determine the Datasource and the directory where the sequence is saved.

Sequence Name:

Enter a name for the sequence to be created. (This entry is not optional.) Long file names may be used if the server is prepared accordingly.

Title:

Enter a descriptive title (option).

Data Source:
(Not available for
Chromeleon Xpress)

Select a database for administering the samples. Generally, the database will be local (<PCNAME_LOCAL>). If the user connected to other datasources (Connect to Timebase) or created new datasources (New Datasource) before, these are also available.

Directory:
(Not available for Chromeleon Xpress)

Directory in which to store the sequence. If you enter a new directory name, Chromeleon creates the corresponding directory (after confirmation).

Copies of the PGM and/or QNT Files specified in Step 4 of the Sequence Wizard are stored with the sequence in the sequence directory.

 Tip:

In Novell networks, do not use special characters, such as an umlaut, for new sequence or directory names, as this may cause problems.
