Control:
Script Button
A script button can be assigned a single command or an entire series of Control Commands. The commands are then executed by a simple key click with split-second accuracy.
Select Properties on the context menu to program a script button. On the Command tab page, sufficient space is available to enter time-precise commands. The procedure corresponds to creating a Program and uses the same program syntax (see Control The Program Syntax).
The Command dialog box lists the exact spelling of all executable commands. Open the dialog box by selecting Command on the Control menu. Select the instrument that should receive the command. Chromeleon lists all commands that are available for this instrument. After selecting a command and determining the command parameters, the complete command sequence appears in the lower left corner of the dialog box.
Via the script button, you can also open hidden windows. For information about how to create hidden windows, see How to: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel Creating Hidden Windows
