Integrator Driver
Chromeleon cannot directly process analog signals that are received, for example, from a gas chromatograph or a pump, via a Sharable Device, such as the UCI Universal Chromatography Interface. These analog signals can be recorded only if the Integrator driver is installed and configured in the Server Configuration program.
In the Signal Configuration dialog box of the driver, the individual channels are assigned to the Sharable Device. Thus, if you later want to connect a device to a different channel, you need not rewrite all affected PGM Files but only change the port assignment in the Signal Configuration dialog box.
The integrator driver allows you, for example, to record the pump pressure in order to check whether signal variations in the chromatogram are caused by pump pressure variations. Also, refer to Practical Tips for Device Control Recording the Pump Pressure.
