What is required?

License:

Timebase Class 3

Connection:

Null modem cable, Dionex part no. 1310.2263 (For more information, refer to  Null Modem Cable.)

Hardware
Prerequisites:

LC-10A HPLC System:

A free RS-232 port is required on the Chromeleon server PC.

An SCL-10Avp System Controller is required for communication with Chromeleon. To control preparative LC-8A pumps that are connected to the SCL-10Avp, a PC-31L interface is required on the pump. (If two or more LC-8A pumps are installed in a timebase, one interface is required for each pump.) Communication between the interface and the controller is via the fiber-optical cable that is supplied with the device.

 Tip:

You cannot control the Shimadzu HPLC System via an RS-232 port on the UCI Universal Chromatography Interface.

LC-20A Prominence and LC-30A Nexera HPLC Systems:

  • CBM-20A or CBM-20Alite system controller

  • A free Ethernet port

  • Ethernet LAN cable

Control Panel:

Shimadzu_LC-10A or Shimadzu_LC-10A_SIL-10ADvp
