Installing the DX-LAN Card

In order to support instruments via DX-LAN, the PC on which Chromeleon is installed must contain a DX-LAN Computer Interface Card (FA311 card, P/N 060219).

Notes:

Dionex does not support the use of DX-LAN on Windows 7. Dionex can only guarantee DX-LAN performance on Windows Vista and Windows XP.

Windows Vista or Windows XP must be installed before the DX-LAN card is installed in order for the card to be set up correctly.

Complete the following steps to install the card:

 Install the DX-LAN Card in the Computer

 Connecting Dionex Devices via 10BASE-T DX-LAN or  Connecting Dionex Devices via BNC DX-LAN (both topics in the Connecting Devices to the Chromeleon Server PC section)

 Install the DX-LAN Card Driver

 Add the DX-LAN Card to the Server Configuration
