Enter the configuration(s) for the installed detector(s):

 Tip:  

If you have selected Get configuration from the instrument on the Select configuration mode page, all options on the Detector page are disabled, except AD port and Advanced. Determine the AD port(s), and then click Next> to proceed to the following wizard pages. Click Finish to complete the installation. The description of the options below refers to manual configuration.

Type

Select L7400 UV if this detector is installed with your HPLC system.

 

 

Device Name:

Accept the name under which the instrument is identified in the installation environment (default setting: UV VIS 1 or UV VIS 2; also, refer to Naming Devices...). If you do not accept the default name, you may have to edit the PGM Files and re-link the corresponding control of the control panel. (Also, refer to How to: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel  Linking a Control to a Device in the User Help section.)

 

 

Range:

Select the maximum peak of the output signal: 1, 2, or 4 AUFS.

 

 

Offset:

Enter the signal offset (in mAU), if necessary.

 

 

AD Port:

Select the AD port to transfer the detector signal to the data system.

 

 

Advanced:

Select this button to change the signal parameters on the Signal Configuration page.
