Installed

Select the check box if a detector is installed.

 

 

Name

Enter the detector name.

 

 

Type

Select the currently used detector type:

  • FID = Flame Ionization Detector

  • TCD = Thermal Conductivity Detector

  • NPD = Nitrogen Phosphorus Detector (6890 GC only)

  • FPD = Flame Photometric Detector (6890 GC only)

  • ECD = Electron Capture Detector (6890 GC only)

  • µ-ECD (micro ECD) = micro Electron Capture Detector

  • Other = enables support of a generic detector including digital data acquisition (6850/6890 GCs only).

 

 

Minimum Temperature

Sets the lower limit of the adjustable detector oven temperature range.

 

 

Maximum Temperature

Sets the upper limit of the adjustable detector oven temperature range. The Maximum Temperature must be at least 5°C above the Minimum Temperature. The maximum temperature depends on the currently specified detector type.

 

 

Maximum Fuel Flow

Sets the upper limit of the adjustable fuel flow range. The maximum fuel flow depends on the currently specified detector type.

 

 

Maximum Util Flow

Sets the upper limit of the adjustable utility gas flow range. The maximum utility flow depends on the currently specified detector type.

 

 

Maximum Makeup Flow

Sets the upper limit of the makeup gas flow range. The maximum makeup gas flow depends on the currently specified detector type.
