Tab Dialog Box:
Configuration (TCC-100)

Select the components to be controlled. Only selected components are controlled. For some components, you can determine the name under which the component is identified in Chromeleon.

 

Installed Components

 

Internal MSV

Select this check box if the installed TCC-100 a column switching valve.

 Tip:  

If you want to operate a Summit x2 Dual-Gradient HPLC System in Tandem Operation mode, verify that this check box is selected.

 

 

Column ID System

This check box is selected by default. Accept the setting if you want to use the column identification system and the corresponding properties. (For more information, refer to Control  Dionex TCC-100/TCC-3x00 Thermostatted Column Compartment: Column ID Properties in the User Help section.)

If this check box is selected, you may change the column names.

 

 

Column A/B name

Dionex recommends that you accept the default names under which the columns are identified in the installation environment. The default names are Column_A and Column_B. (For more information, refer to Naming Devices.... If you do not accept the default name(s), you have to edit the PGM File(s) and re-link the corresponding controls of the control panel. (Also, refer to How to: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel  Linking a Control to a Device in the User Help section.)

 

 

Temperature Signal

Select this check box if you want to record the temperature as a separate channel.

Dionex recommends that you accept the default name under which the temperature signal is identified in the installation environment (ColumnOven_Temp). If you do not accept the default name, you have to re-link the corresponding controls of the control panel.

 

 

Pressure Unit

Select the unit for saving the pressure values on the column’s ID chip. The available options are: bar, psi, and MPa.
