ChipCard A/B/C/D type

Specify in which slots the chip cards for the column and/or flow splitter identification system are installed. As standard, the three slots at the left (ChipCard A through ChipCard C) are for the column ID chip cards and the slot at the utmost right (ChipCard D) is for the splitter ID chip card.

However, you are free to install the chip cards in any other slot if required. Click the arrow next to the input field and select an entry from the list. If no chip card is installed, select Empty. In this case, the associated Device name field is not available.

Device Name:

Indicates the name under which the column or flow splitter is identified in the installation environment and in the Chromeleon client. Accept the default names. (For more information, refer to Naming Devices.... If you do not accept the default name(s), you have to edit the PGM File(s) and re-link the corresponding controls of the control panel. (Also, refer to How to: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel  Linking a Control to a Device in the User Help section.)
