LOWER

Description

LOWER changes the characters in the specified string to lowercase characters. Numeric characters in the string are not changed.

Syntax

LOWER ( text )

Parameter	Description
text	Any string.

Examples

This function returns 3rd quarter:

LOWER("3rd Quarter")

This function returns john doe:

LOWER("JOHN DOE")
