DC Mode
DC Mode (direct current mode) is the basic operating mode of an electrochemical detector.
When you apply a fixed potential between reference and working electrode, you can observe a proportional current, depending on the concentration of an oxidable or reducible substance.
For optimum results, adjust the potential to the substance to be detected. This is performed in SCAN Mode.
If modifications occur during the analysis, for example, due to separating processes, the detector should be operated in Pulse Mode.
