Agilent 7683 Autosampler: Troubleshooting

{Sampler} Command aborted by sampler: Rear - Turret Error.

While the turret is still rotating, the gripper moves towards the sample. The autosampler stops and aborts the sequence. The Fault light flashes three times and after a short break flashes three times again and so on. This error may be caused by a remote start/stop cable that connects the autosampler and the GC. In this case, remove the remote cable.

If the error occurs again, check if the turret is defective. For details, refer to the autosampler's operating instructions.

{Sampler} Command aborted by sampler: No Bottle in Gripper

The gripper grips the bottle while the turret is not rotating and places it onto the tray. However, the gripper does not "remember" this process, and thus retries to grip the bottle. After three attempts, the autosampler aborts the sequence. This error may be caused by a remote start/stop cable that connects the autosampler and the GC. In this case, remove the remote cable.

If the error occurs again, verify that the bottles are in a correct position. For details, refer to the autosampler's operating instructions.
