Dialog Box:
Commands
Use the Commands dialog box to issue control commands on the Control Panel and to display them in the Audit Trail. In addition, the box indicates the status of your Timebase.
Devices, commands, and properties are displayed hierarchically by default. For example, relays and inputs of a device are listed under the main device, channels of a detector are listed under this detector, and so on. To disable hierarchical presentation, deselect the Group by device hierarchy option on the context menu (right mouse click). In this case, relays, inputs, channels, etc. are displayed on the same level as the main devices.
The different display level settings (Normal, Advanced, and Expert) on the context menu determine the type and extent of the display.
On the left side of the dialog box, select a device and click the + character. This displays a list of all special commands available for this device.
Select a command (for example, the Log Command). On the right side of the dialog box, the system now indicates the current values and all command parameters that can be edited.
Assign new parameters to the command.
Click Execute to perform the selected command.
Enter notes about the command in the Comment field, if desired.
A Commands dialog box is also available in the PGM Editor. Use dialog box to enter commands into a PGM File. To open the dialog box, select Commands on the Control menu in the PGM Editor.
Note:
Select a device or command in the left list of the Commands dialog box. On the context menu, select the settings for device and command presentation. The Commands dialog box of the PGM File inherits the settings made in the Commands dialog box of the control panel and vice versa.
