Dialog Box:
Sequence Wizard: Timebase

Assign the Sequence to a specific Timebase in Step 1 of the Sequence Wizard (see Samples and Sequences  The Sequence Wizard). Different computers, timebases, and  Networks are listed in the right section of the overview window.

Overview Window

There are three main entries in the overview window: My Computer, Favorites, and Network Neighborhood. My Computer lists the timebases that are installed on this computer. Favorites lists all timebases to which your computer is connected. Network Neighborhood lists the individual computers, grouped according to the network to which they are connected. Click the Plus sign (+) beside an entry to display the items underneath.

 

Fields

 

Timebase:

Indicates the timebase selected in the overview window.

 

 

Computer:

Indicates the computer where the currently selected timebase is installed.

 

 

Protocol:

Select a different transfer protocol. Only protocols suitable to transfer Chromeleon data are listed.

 Note:

If this timebase was selected before, the most recently used protocol automatically appears in the Protocol field. Local installations always use the My Computer protocol.

 

If the connection to the timebase is currently not available, the Connect dialog box can be skipped. Click Cancel to abort the Connecting to server dialog box and confirm the action by clicking Yes. However, features such as the Rack Preview or exact control of the position and volume will not be available.
