UltiMate 3000 x2 Dual-Gradient HPLC System
The UltiMate 3000 x2 Dual-Gradient HPLC System (in short: UltiMate 3000 x2 HPLC System) provides the maximum flexibility for standard HPLC and LC/MS methods and for advanced chromatographic techniques requiring two gradient pumps. The system is suitable for both standard HPLC applications and advanced chromatographic techniques, such as Tandem Operation, on-line sample preparation, parallel chromatography, and 2D chromatography.
Running the UltiMate 3000 x2 HPLC System in tandem operation mode allows increasing the productivity, typically by 50-100%, without the need to modify existing chromatographic methods.
The UltiMate 3000 x2 system supports on-line sample preparation, e.g., for analyte enrichment or sample matrix elimination, which automates otherwise time-consuming manual preparation steps.
The parallel setup allows doubling the throughput by sharing the autosampler and column compartment between two timebases.
The 2D chromatography setup improves selectivity and peak capacity (e.g., peptide analysis).
The UltiMate 3000 x2 HPLC System comprises the following modules:
Two HPLC gradient pumps (e.g., DGP-3600 dual-gradient pump with two ternary gradient pumps in one enclosure or two separate LPG-3x00A or HPG-3x00A/P gradient pumps with identical flow rate)
SRD-3200, SRD-3400, or SRD-3600 solvent rack with integrated degasser for degassing all channels of the pumps
WPS-3000SL/RS/TXRS HPLC autosampler (that supports overlapping injections)
TCC-3x00(RS/SD) HPLC thermostatted column compartment with column switching valve, with either a 6-port or a 10-port valve selected on the Components tab page of the Server Configuration, and
Detectors of the UltiMate 3000 series.
