Binary-Coded Decimal Code ("BCD")

Autosamplers for which a device driver is not available in Chromeleon but which can be controlled via binary code (BCD-enabled autosamplers) can communicate the autosampler position from which the injection was performed to Chromeleon if the following prerequisites are fulfilled:

• The autosampler outputs are connected to the BCD inputs, for example, on a UCI Universal Chromatography Interface that is connected to the Chromeleon server PC.

• The Remote Inject device driver is installed and configured in the Server Configuration program (refer to Installing Special Drivers and Controlling Devices without Separate Device Driver).
