Calibrating the ICS-90A Flow Rate

When to Calibrate:

If you typically operate the ICS-90A at a particular flow rate, you may want to calibrate the system at that flow rate before beginning operation. This will improve flow rate accuracy.

The instructions here apply to the ICS-90A only. If you are unsure whether your system is an ICS-90 or ICS-90A, check the model data label on the rear panel.

  1. Measure the flow rate volumetrically or gravimetrically. For instructions, refer to the ICS-90 operator’s manual.

  2. Open the ICS-90A System Wellness Control Panel (see  Opening a Wellness Control Panel).

  3. Enter the flow rate obtained by the volumetric or gravimetric method in the measured field.

  4. Click the Calibrate Offset command button under flow rate. The pump calibrates the flow rate and uploads the new value to Chromeleon. The new offset is stored as the current value.
