Control Requirements

To control devices, make sure that

• The appropriate  Chromeleon License is available.

• The controlled instruments are correctly installed and configured in the Server Configuration program.

 Tip:

Dionex Service or a network administrator usually performs installation. The Administrator Help section provides more information; refer to Hardware Installation:

 Installing and Controlling Third Party Devices

• A connection exists between the PC and the Chromatography Server.

• A connection has been established between the chromatography server and the chromatography system via a suitable interface. (For more information, refer to  Connecting Devices to the Chromeleon Server PC.)
