Connecting an UltiMate 3000 Autosampler to the LC System

In order to operate a WPS-3000 autosampler with the Agilent LC system, you also need the following cable:

6-pin Mini-DIN signal cable (5m; Dionex part no. 6000.1004)

To connect the signal cable with the remote cable of the LC system:

  1. Connect one end of the signal cable to relay 4 of the digital I/O port of the autosampler.

  2. Connect the Agilent general purpose remote cable with the LC system.

  3. Connect the remote cable with the other end of the Dionex signal cable: connect wire 1 of the Agilent remote cable to the brown wire, and wire 3 to the white wire of the Dionex signal cable.
