Installing and Controlling Third-Party Devices
Nelson Interfaces: Data Acquisition Restrictions

General

It is not possible to change the data acquisition parameters of the box during data acquisition.

For optimum synchronization of the Inject Response and data acquisition start, data acquisition should start immediately after injection. (The digital Inject Response should be used.)

Data Acquisition on two Channels

Although the type 941 supports two channels, data acquisition is possible only on one channel. Simultaneous data acquisition on both channels is not possible.

With the types 950-970, simultaneous data acquisition is possible on both channels.

It is not possible to control data acquisition independently on the two channels as the box has only one A/D converter that is alternately switched to the two channels (Multiplexing).

Therefore, both channels can be enabled and disabled only simultaneously. Both channels are recorded with the same VoltageRange and SamplingStep. As the maximum sampling rate of the A/D converter is only 100 Hz, the SamplingStep must be set to multiples of 0.02s.

Releasing the Start/Stop Keys and Inputs

 Tip:

Pressing the Start key while holding down the Stop key allows you to release the Start/Stop keys on the instrument. However, this may lead to errors that the device driver is unable to prevent.
