A/D converter, such as a UCI Universal Chromatography Interface and an Agilent 6890 signal cable (Dionex part no. 8911.6890A) and an RS-232 null modem cable (Dionex part no. 8914.0103A). (For cable details, refer to Agilent 6890 GC Cable (Signal Cable) and Null Modem Cable (RS-232).) Connect the PC to the Modem part (RS-232C) on the gas chromatograph. For more information, refer to the Site Preparation and Installation Manual for the instrument. Tip: Digital data acquisition is not supported when the GC is under RS-232 control. |
Hardware |
An A/D converter is required for data acquisition. A UCI Universal Chromatography Interface, a Dionex UI20 (Dionex part no. 46017) or any other A/D converter supported by Chromeleon (e.g., PE Nelson Boxes) including the appropriate signal cables may be used. |
