Install built in "Remote Inject":

Select this option to use the built-in Remote Inject of the Nelson Box; that is, if no other autosampler driver is installed.

If a different autosampler driver is used, refer to  Nelson Interfaces: Device Drivers Configuration

Name:

Name the Remote Inject with Sampler or any other name.

Read Sample Position from Rack & Vial Port:

If Read Sample Position from Rack & Vial Port is enabled, the sample position of this port (RVP) is read immediately after the injection. The following three options are available:

Invert Inputs:

Enable this box if the meanings of True and False are inverted; for example, if position 1 reads 4094 (= 3FFEh)

Mask:

Modify the Mask entry only if there are other signals at the RVP that have nothing to do with the sample position. (This hex number is connected with logical AND to the value read by the RVP.)

Encoding:

Set Encoding to binary if the autosampler uses a binary code for the sample position. (This is very rarely the case and can be detected when position 16 is read as position 10.)
