LEN

Description

LEN returns the number of characters in the supplied text string.

Syntax

LEN ( text )

Parameter	Description
text	Any text string. Spaces in the string are counted as characters.

Examples

This function returns 11:

LEN("3rd Quarter")

This function returns 3:

LEN("1-3")
