Insert/Edit Variable Dialog Box

Dialog Box:
Insert/Edit Variable

Select the underlying control variable and to include its name automatically in the Caption field of the General tab page.

Select the instrument and the function in the list box.

Variable:

Indicates the name of the variable.

Decimals:

Select the accuracy with which the value of a variable is stated.

Append Unit:

Select this option if the variable unit is to be displayed.

Use local number format:

Select this option to use the local number format that is set in the Windows control panel (currently possible for decimal delimiters (period/comma)).
