Indicates the line number of the trend variable.

 

 

Variable to plot

Indicates the variable currently used to create the trend plot. To define a different trend variable, select the Variable to plot cell and click the Edit button (or double-click the cell) to open the Trend Variable dialog box.

 

 

R Axis

When multiple trend lines are overlaid, select this check box to display the Y-axis of the selected line on the right side of the chart. If this check box is selected for more than one line, the Y-axis of the first selected line is shown.

 

 

Target

To enable this option, select Calculated From: Control Chart (Data Set) on the Statistics tab page. Enter the target value to be shown on the control chart. The target can be either an absolute value or a trend variable formula.

If the field is blank or if 0 is entered, the target value is calculated from the trend data values and is the mean of the values.

To enter the target, select the field and click the Edit button (or double-click the field). The Trend Variable dialog box opens. Enter an absolute value in the Formula field or select a trend variable.

 

 

1s

This option is enabled if Calculated From: Control Chart (Data Set) is selected on the Statistics tab page. Enter the 1s value to be shown on the control chart.

If the field is blank or if 0 is entered, 1s is calculated from the trend data values.

To enter the 1s value, select the field and click the Edit button (or double-click the field). The Trend Variable dialog box opens. Enter an absolute value in the Formula field or select a trend variable.

 

 

Up/Down

Select a line and click Up to move it up one position in the list, or click Down to move it down one position

 

 

Edit

To choose a different Variable to plot, Target, or 1s value, select the cell and click Edit (or double-click the cell) to open the Trend Variable dialog box.

 

 

Add Line

Adds a new line below the current line.

 

 

Delete Lines

Deletes the currently selected line(s).
