Modem Cable (1:1 Cable)

Modem cables are frequently used standard cables for connecting instruments to a PC.

The pin mapping for connectors with identical pin number is 1:1. That is why modem cables are sometimes referred to as 1:1 RS cables.

 Tip:

Do not confuse non-crossover modem cables with crossover Null Modem Cables!
