Creating and Using Report Tables
Saving and Loading a Report Definition File
You can save all modifications made in a report to a Report Definition File (RDF). You can then later open (load) the RDF.
To save a Report Definition File (RDF)
On the Workspace or context menu, click Save Report Definition....
In the Name: filed, type a name under which to save the new RDF.
Click Save.
Tips:
If you change a default Report Definition File from the Dionex Templates > Report directory, you usually cannot save the new file to this directory because the Dionex Templates directory is locked. Save the modified file to a different directory; for example, create a new Report directory under your local datasource.
If you do not save the RDF before you exit the screen report, any changes made to the report's layout are lost. There will be no hints as to the loss of these changes because a warning would then have to appear for every other change, as well, e.g., when resizing single windows.
To load a Report Definition File (RDF)
On the Workspace or context menu, click Load Report Definition....
In the Look in: filed, navigate to the RDF you want to open.
Click Open.
