Shutting Down the Chromatography System (SmartShutdown)
Determining the Device Settings

After selecting the mode, you can now configure the required device settings for the shutdown or standby program. The wizard includes a page for each supported device in the system (for example, Pump Settings, Sampler Settings, Column Oven Settings, and Detector (UV) Settings). The available device settings may vary, depending on which mode (shutdown or standby) you have selected. In addition, default values for device settings may change, depending on the selected mode.

Determine the device settings on each wizard page. For example, specify the Upper/Lower Pressure Limit, the Final Flow, or a user-defined flow gradient profile (Define Flow Gradient) for the pump.

 Tip:

If both sub pumps of a DGP-3600 are installed in the same timebase, you can configure the shutdown process for each pump separately.

Clicking Next> takes you to the next wizard page.
