Notes:

Operation of the L7250 Autosampler for sample preparation requires control via the Merck (or Hitachi): L7250 Autosampler device driver (see  Merck Hitachi L7250 Autosampler). You need an additional RS-232 port (COM port).

The LaChrom Elite and LaChrom Ultra HPLC Systems can be controlled by a separate Chromeleon driver package that is provided by Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation. The driver setup is available on the Chromeleon CD under Additional Drivers\Hitachi. For installation instructions, please refer to LaChrom_Elite_DRIVER_for_CHROMELEON_Inst.pdf in the same folder. Any questions or issues regarding this driver package should be addressed to Hitachi.

Restrictions

The driver does not support the following operations:

  • Digital data acquisition

  • Sample preparation of the L7250 Autosampler

 Tip:  

Each LaChrom HLPC system requires only one D-Line converter.
