Selecting the I/O Address
Tips:
Due to its obsolete technology, the 16-bit DAC card is no longer available from Dionex. However, 16-bit DAC cards may still be used in the field. Therefore, refer to the installation instructions below if necessary.
This card is not supported under Windows Vista or later.
The default value for the I/O base address of the card is 280hex. Thus, the card uses the range from 280hex to 2Bfhex, which is available for most PCs. This does not affect the default settings of other Dionex cards (A/D Converter, UVD340 card, and pump control card).
If you have to change the base address, use DIP switch SW1 to change the address in increments of 40hex. Other possible I/O addresses are 240hex and 380hex. The addresses are coded as follows:
