Installing the A/D Converter Card
Selecting the I/O Address
Tips:
The A/D converter card is no longer available from Dionex. However, as A/D converter cards may still be used in the field, refer to the corresponding installation instructions below.
This card is not supported under Windows Vista or later.
The A/D converter card is fitted with an 8-fold DIP switch. The setting of the switch determines which I/O address (port address) in the PC’s address space is used to control the A/D card. In most cases, the default setting can be used.
If there are conflicts between the default address of the A/D converter card and any other card, such as a network interface card, set a new address, following the steps in Setting the Base Address.
If you do not have to modify the address, you may skip this section and continue with Selecting the Appropriate Slot.
