Get configuration from device

Select this option to download the configuration from the device. While download is in progress, the following message appears on the screen: Loading GC configuration

 Tips:  

When installing the GC, make sure that all detectors are enabled in the GC configuration before automatically downloading the configuration from the GC. (For the Clarus, you may temporarily disable any unused detectors on the Config dialog on the GC, e.g., to reduce gas consumption or wear. For details, refer to the manual for the instrument.)

Although the download is performed automatically, Dionex recommends checking the configuration on the wizard pages.

Configure manually

In exceptional cases, you may enter manually the configuration. A wizard will then guide you through the configuration process.

 Tip:  

Make sure that you enter the configuration correctly. Otherwise, the GC cannot be connected.
