Solenoids

View the solenoids installed in the SP or SS and their modes. Solenoids are enabled automatically, based on configuration information received from the SP or SS.

Indicates the installed solenoids and the Mode of each:

  • ValveControl Mode: The solenoid controls the position of the solenoid valve.

  • DeviceControl Mode: The solenoid controls an external device connected to the solenoid. For example, on an SP2, solenoid 9 controls the loading pump when this mode is selected.

Notes

  • Solenoids 1 through 8 are always in ValveControl Mode.

  • Solenoids 9 and 10 can be in either ValveControl Mode or DeviceControl Mode.

  • For solenoid 9 on an SP2, select DeviceControl Mode.

  • To change the mode for solenoid 9 or 10, select the solenoid name and press F2.

  • To change the name of any solenoid, select the solenoid name and type the new name.
