Dialog Box:
Configuration (FLM-3x00)

Determine whether Chromeleon shall record the temperature and/or column pressure as a separate channel. Only the selected channels will be available in Chromeleon.

Temperature Signal

The Temperature Signal check box is selected by default. Accept this setting if you want to record the temperature as a separate channel. Accept the default name (ColumnOven_Temp) under which the temperature signal is identified in the installation environment and in the Chromeleon client.

If a problem occurs, the temperature channel can provide helpful information to identify and eliminate the source for the problem. Therefore, you should record the temperature in the PGM file.

Pressure Signal

The Pressure Signal check box is selected by default. Accept this setting if you want to record the column pressure as a separate channel ( The channel records the pressure at the splitter outlet). Accept the default name (ColumnPressure) under which the column pressure signal is identified in the installation environment and in the Chromeleon client.

If a problem occurs, the pressure channel can provide helpful information to identify and eliminate the source for the problem. Therefore, you should record the column pressure in the PGM file.

Pressure Unit

Click the arrow and select the pressure unit, for example, to be used for storing the pressure values on the column ID chip card.

Additional Signals

The Flow Control  check box is selected by default. If the check box is cleared, you cannot run the Flow Control Test.

The Rear Temperature check box is selected by default. If the check box is cleared, you cannot  run the  Thermo Unit Test for the flow manager.

In addition, if a problem occurs, for example, during Operational Qualification,  the channels can provide helpful information to identify and eliminate the source for the problem.
