Error Levels

Classify the severity of any error that occurs.

Click the arrow beside the Error Messages input field and select a message from the drop-down list. (Note: If the error message is too long, some of the text will not be visible in the drop-down list. The complete message is displayed in the gray text field below the selected message.) Assign the severity in the Message Error Level section:

Ignore:

The error is logged in the Audit Trail, but is otherwise ignored. (For more information, refer to Data Management  Audit Trails in the User Help section.)

 

 

Warning:

The error is logged in the Audit Trail, but the current sample is not interrupted. If the error occurs during the Ready Check, it does not need to be resolved before the batch can start.

 

 

Error:

The error is logged in the Audit Trail. The system attempts to correct the error whenever possible (sometimes by using an alternative parameter), but the current sample is not interrupted. If the error occurs during the Ready Check, it must be resolved before the batch can start.

 

 

Abort:

The error is logged in the Audit Trail and a running Batch is aborted.

 

Click Set Default Levels to restore the original severity for all messages.
